Zane Lowe Reveals His Top 100 Tracks of 2014
ZANE LOWE has revealed his 100 hottest records of 2014, from which Radio 1 listeners will be picking their favourite songs of the year. Listen to them all below. The BBC DJ has shortlisted 100 of his favourite songs of the year, and voting is now open for music fans to pick their favourite. Lowe will then count down from 100 to one between 1st to 4th December based on the results of the poll.
Artists such as Foo Fighters, Royal Blood, Jungle, Bombay Bicycle Club, Kendrick Lamar, Lana Del Rey and Eminem appear on the list, which was topped last year by The 1975’s ‘Chocolate’. The band made it to the top 100 again this year with their single ‘Medicine’, but they face tough competition from the likes of Alt-J, Chvrches, and Jack White.
Voting is now open on the Radio 1 website for the best songs of 2014, and closes at 9pm on 27 November.
