Paramore Announce Edinburgh Gig
Paramore have announced a second UK show for later this year. The band, who are booked to play under headliners The Cure at this summer’s Reading And Leeds Festivals, will play Edinburgh’s Corn Exchange Centre on 21st August. The gig is the second the pop punkers have announced in recent days after they confirmed last week that they would be headlining the Belsonic 2012 event in Custom House Square in Belfast on 19th August.
The shows in Edinburgh and Belfast will be the band’s first UK show since the departure of founding members Josh and Zac Farro, and will see the Nashville pop punkers previewing material from their as yet untitled fourth album. Paramore recently revealed that Beck/Nine Inch Nails bassist Justin Meldal-Johnsen will be producing their new record, with singer Hayley Williams adding that they have so far recorded and completed one track, which is titled ‘Daydreaming’.
Tickets go on sale on Friday at 9am.
