Kate Nash’s New Single
Kate Nash has posted a brand new song, ‘Under-Estimate The Girl’, online. Scroll down to listen to the song and watch the accompanying video. The track – which was written, recorded and had its video made over just 24 hours – draws from reggae, new wave and grunge influences. Of the track’s genesis, Nash writes:
“So the other night I was stressin’ out and we’d just finished rehearsing and I was like ARGHGHHGHGH I need to write a song and release something and do something creative instead of breaking all my stuff that I own.”
The singer recently went to Los Angeles to write and record her as-yet-untitled third album, which will be released later this year. She released her debut album ‘Made Of Bricks’ in 2007, with its follow-up ‘My Best Friend Is You’ arriving in 2010.
Kate Nash kicks off her UK tour tomorrow (16th June) at Edinburgh Electric Circus.
