Gary Numan – ‘Love, Hurt, Bleed’
Summary: Scuzzy, industrial electro from the godfather of the genre.

British rock veteran and writer of arguably the greatest automobile-related song ever, Gary Numan is still fighting the good fight for scuzzy, industrial rock long after most of his contemporaries have, thankfully, dropped by the wayside. With its driving, distorted guitars and thunderous drumming, ‘Love, Hurt, Bleed’ bears more than a few similarities to the likes of NIN and Marilyn Manson, artists whom Numan inspired and is now inspired by. Aggressive and relentless, this latest single is a welcome sign that, even after 35 years, Numan still has a fresh idea or two up his black leather sleeves.
