Scissor Sisters Announce UK Tour

Scissor Sisters have announced a UK and Ireland tour for October. The band will release their fourth studio album ‘Magic Hour’ on Monday and will tour in support of it later this year, playing a total of eight shows. The gigs kick off at Dublin’s Olympia venue on 1st October and run until 23rd October, when the band headline London’s Roundhouse venue.

The album features collaborations with Pharrell Williams, Diplo, BoysNoize’s Alex Rihda and Azealia Banks as well as Calvin Harris, who has co-produced lead-off single ‘Only The Horses’ along with Shears. Speaking about the album, the band’s singer Jake Shears said of ‘Magic Hour’:

“It’s a sweet joyful mélange of beat-driven future-pop. It style-hops all over the place unabashedly.”
