Tom Jones Is Playing Lichfield THIS Weekend

The legend Sir Tom Jones is to play Lichfield’s Beacon Park on this weekend on Sunday 12 June, bringing his huge repertoire of hits including It’s Not Unusual, Kiss, Delilah, Sex Bomb, What’s New Pussycat, Green, Mama Told Me Not To Come and Green Grass Of Home to this not-to-be-missed show in the park.

With a career spanning five decades, superstar Sir Tom continues to go from strength to strength, amassing 36 top 40 UK hits, a BRIT Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music and in 2015 – at the age of 75 – receiving the best reviews of his career for his two most recent albums, Spirit In The Room and Praise & Blame.

Events company tinyCOW’s CEO, Lee O’Hanlon, says: “We’re delighted to be bringing Sir Tom to Lichfield as this is a real first for the city. He’s truly a living legend, with an irresistible and exciting show that crosses musical eras and genres and appeals to young and old, male and female, mainstream and cutting edge. Sir Tom has always been about the power of the song, the power of the voice.”

The Big Top event in Beacon Park, brought to Lichfield by the city’s own tinyCOW, promises a family-friendly day of music and entertainment.

Held in a 10,000-person capacity grand marquee, the event will start at noon with a full line-up of support from artists from the region as well as some of the best new talent in the UK, before Sir Tom and his live band takes to the stage at 7/8pm to play a full set of some of his best known and loved back catalogue.

Tickets are on sale now priced at £55 (£49 face value) for Standard (standing), £84 (£75 face value) for Silver (seated) and £99 (£85 face value) for Gold (seated) inclusive of booking fee and postage.
