So with Festival Season now in full flow, the focus now is on these events across the UK as 2019 opens up in fashionable style. This is a roundup of what we consider to be the Top Ten events happening in July.
Paul Weller – Cannock Chase – Saturday 6th July.
Returning to the Forest Live event after four years, the Modfather himself is currently promoting his recent live album ‘Other Aspects’ recorded live at London’s Royal Festival Hall. With the event Sold Out, Weller is set to bring his huge hits to the intimate setting of Cannock Chase.

Barn on the Farm – Gloucester – Friday 5th – Sunday 7th July.
Celebrating it’s tenth year, the intimate farm festival in Gloucester has an ever impressive line up featuring: Dermot Kennedy, Maggie Rogers, Lewis Capaldi, Maverick Sabre, Zak Abel, Swim Deep, Gabrielle Aplin, Jade Bird, Grace Carter, Youngr, Nina Nesbitt and many more across the weekend.

The Specials – Cathedral Ruins, Coventry – 9th-12th July.
One of the most revered bands the West Midlands has ever given birth to, Coventry’s two-tone legends return for five Sold Out shows in the grounds of their hometown’s Cathedral Ruins. Celebrating the release of their recent Number One album, these shows are set to be a festival of fun.

Bloc Party – Various Dates – July.
Celebrating the 20th Anniversary of debut album ‘Silent Alarm’, Kele Okerke and Co. are tourning the defining album across the country. Expect to hear the album played in full with a few of the bands’ other hits throughout the set.

Tramlines – Hillsborough Park, Sheffield – Friday 19th – Sunday 21st July.
The City of Steel celebrates with the annual Tramlines festival boasting an impressive line up for the 2019 edition: Two Door Cinema Club, Manic Street Preachers, Courteeners, Doves, Nile Rogers & Chic, Johnny Marr, Reverend & The Makers, Miles Kane, Circa Waves, Sleeper, Happy Mondays, The Japanese House, Hey Charlie and many more across 3 stages.
Tickets are available starting from £135 for a weekend ticket and £40 per day from the official website.
Splendour – Nottingham – Saturday 20th July.
Nottingham’s one day event boasts an impressive line up for this years event including: Manic Street Preachers, The Specials, Rag n’ Bone Man, Slow Readers Club, All Saints, Ash, The Rifles and full supporting cast.

Doves – Perry Park, Birmingham – Sunday 28th July.
Returning Mancunians Doves are set to play a huge outdoor gig in Birmingham at the city’s Perry Park. Supported by Johnny Marr, The Coral and local heroes The Twang, this is set to be a perfect summer evening day out

Kendal Calling – Lowther Deer Park, Cumbria – Thursday 25th – Sunday 28th July.
Northern powerhouse Kendal Calling boasts yet another impressive line up for the 2019 party in the beautiful Lake District. Boasting a line up featuring: Courteeners, Doves, Manic Street Preachers, Nile Rogers & Chic, Orbital, Years & Years, Tom Jones, Miles Kane, Idles, KT Tunstall and many more over the 4-day weekend.

Y not Festival – Pikehall, Derbyshire – Thursday 25th – Sunday 28th July.
The Peak District’s annual Summer Shenanigans returns in 2019 for another impressive weekend boasting a huge line up. This year featuring: Elbow, Foals, Wolf Alice, Two Door Cinema Club, Franz Ferdinand, You Me At Six, Happy Mondays, Echo & The Bunnymen, White Lies, Kate Nash amongst others. Truck Festival – Hill Top Farm, Steventon, Oxfordshire – Thursday 25th – Sunday 28th July.
One of Oxford’s best kept summer secrets, Truck returns for it’s 2019 edition with an incredibly bold line up. Bringing one of the best bands from the City back home for a huge headline slot, this is going to be one of the best of the Summer events. Lineup includes: Wolf Alice, Two Door Cinema Club, Foals, Slaves, Johnny Marr and more.
