Radiohead Announce Provisional Three Date UK Arena Tour For October
Radiohead have announced a UK arena tour for later this year. The Oxford band, who are currently touring North America in support of their new album ‘The King Of Limbs’, will play three shows on the tour. The band will first play a show at Manchester’s Evening News Arena on 6th October before playing two shows at London’s O2 Arena on 8th & 9th October.
The tour will see Radiohead trying to bypass the ticket touts by imposing a ticket-less system by where fans will turn up to the venue on the day and confirming identity with credit cards, passports/driving licence in exchange for a wristband. Radiohead have also chosen to sell their tickets through Sandbag UK instead of the usual outlets.
Radiohead have so far played three new songs ‘Identikit’, ‘Cut A Hole’ and ‘Skirting On The Surface’ as part of their recent live set. The band have also booked assorted European shows and festival appearances throughout the summer, including slots at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, Fuji Rock Festival and Bilbao BBK Live festival.
Radiohead will play:
October
6th Manchester Evening News Arena
8th London O2 Arena
9th London O2 Arena
Tickets are on sale from 9am on Friday 9th March.
