Wolverhampton Civic Hall are proud to announce that returning heroes Garbage are to play the venue at the top of this Summer’s festival season. Taking to the stage on Monday 2nd July, it will be the first time the band have played the venue in ten years, appearing here on Wednesday 3rd April 2002.

Their irrisistable blend of gothic indie-rock with subtle dance undertones saw the band achieve a string of Top 40 singles in both the UK and US in the 90s and early 00s including ‘Only Happy When It Rains’, ‘Stupid Girl’, ‘Push It’, ‘I Think I’m Paranoid’, ‘Why Do You Love Me’ and the Bond theme ‘The World Is Not Enough’. They are set to release their 5th studio album in Spring 2012.

Tickets for the show are sure to fly out as it is their first UK tour in the best part of a decade. They go on sale at 9am on Friday from the usual retailers and via the civic hall’s website
