Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page is set to appear on the brand new series of BBC2’s Later With Jools Holland.

Page will appear on the shows first episode along with guests; Sting, Kings of Leon and Banks. Despite not performing on the episode, Page will be talking about the newly-expanded Led Zeppelin album ‘Complete BBC Sessions’ due for release September 16.

The exciting announcements of Page appearing on the first episode of the season has built a huge hype around the return of the season with fans raring to know who else is confirmed to appear on the TV show. Well, the wait is over, with confirmations from Jamie T, Beth Orton and Gallant, keep your TV’s on!

The first episode marking the 49th series of Later, will also feature a preview of the brand new Kings Of Leon album ‘Walls’. Next years series will represent its 25th anniversary since it began in 1992.
