White Lies Announce UK Tour
White Lies, who recently scored their 3rd Top 5 album in 5 years with BIG TV, have announced details of a U.K. tour for December 2013. The dates are their first major U.K. shows since selling out Wembley Arena in December 2011.
Ahead of their main stage appearance at Reading & Leeds Festival this weekend the band declared: “We’re delighted to bring BIG TV to some of our favourite UK venues this winter.”
Support on all shows comes from US singer Frankie Rose (ex Dum Dum Girls), whilst In The Valley Below also play in Newcastle, Glasgow, Manchester and London.

Tickets are priced at £20 (except London £22.50) (subject to per-ticket charge plus order processing fee)and go on sale at 9am on Friday 30th August via www.livenation.co.uk or www.ticketmaster.co.uk.
Additionally the band has announced details of a new single – First Time Caller to be released by Fiction Records on Monday 7th October 2013.
Produced by Ed Buller and mixed by Mark ‘Spike’ Stent, it was recorded in early 2013 as part of the album sessions at the ICP studios in Brussels, Belgium.

The 3 intimate Hoxton shows attracted 10,000 ticket applications and marked a return to the 300 capacity venue where the band played their debut live show on February 27th 2008.
