Paolo Nutini Top of Album Chart

Scottish singer PAOLO NUTINI has scored the fastest selling album of 2014 so far with Caustic Love. The third album from Nutini is the first to sell over 100,000 copies in one week; and passes Sam Baileys 73,000 copies for her debut The Power of Love.

Paolo Nutini held off competition from The Vamps; who’s debut Meet the Vamps entered at this weeks number 2 with the no other new entry in the Top 5. Paloma Faith, John Legend and Kaiser Chiefs all fell positions to complete the Top 5. There were only two other new entries within the Top 20; as Ian Anderson’s Homo Erraticus reached number 15 and Rhydian achieved number 19 with One Day Like This.
