Bastille and Disclosure Lead BRIT Nominees

BASTILLE and DISCLOSURE have received four nominees each for this years BRIT AWARDS. The two bands go head-to-head in the same categories; which are, British Breakthrough Act, British Group, British Single and MasterCard British Album of the Year.

Other bands to to receive multiple nods include Ellie Goulding and Rudimental with three nominations each and One Direction, Laura Mvula, Tom Odell, John Newman and Arctic Monkeys all have two.

It has already been announced that Sam Smith will be picking up the Critics Choice Award – given to the artist most likely to break the UK in the forthcoming year. Smith follows in the footsteps of Tom Odell, Emeli Sande, Adele and Ellie Goulding.

The event is set to take place at The O2 Arena in London on 19th February, with regular host James Corden making his final appearance at the ceremony. Arctic Monkeys, Bastille, Bruno Mars, Rudimental and Katy Perry are all set to perform during the evening award show.
