BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend
BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend will captivate music lovers this weekend with their massive line-up once again this year in Exeter as we see the likes of Bastille, Chase & Status, Coldplay, Ellie Goulding, The 1975, Wolf Alice, Craig David and so many more set to grace the stage for the biggest weekend of the year so far!
With 50,000 tickets sold for the event and only on average 100,000 residents in Devon, this weekend is going to be HUGE! Starting 28 May until 29 May, with three stages; including their main stage, the in new music we trust stage and BBC Introducing, there will be music for everyone!
Despite being sold out, BBC Radio 1 conducted a competition for some lucky listeners to win tickets to the event in Exeter this weekend.
This year, along with their dynamic line-up, their BBC Introducing stage has been crafted by the introducing team in Devon who have selected the hottest new acts emerging out of the area; including, Black Foxxes, Tiny Folds and Cortes.
The festival will be broadcast over BBC Radio 1, BBC Four Television, Radio 1 online and mobile devices and via the red button from BBC TV channels; including, live coverage, highlights and special performances for everyone at home.
