Catfish & Last Shadow Puppets To Play Bristol This Week

With the UK Summer Festival season currently in full swing, those not attending Glastonbury this weekend are in for a treat. Headlining the annual Bristol Summer Series this week are Icelandic Musical Heroes Sigor Ros, rising star James Bay, indie legends The Last Shadow Puppets and Welsh newbies Catfish & The Bottlemen.

Taking place at the historic Lloyds Ampitheatre right on the dockside. Returning for it’s third year, the festival will once again see the air of Bristol rocking out to all manner of hits over the course of 4-days.

Bob Angus, organiser of Bristol Summer Series, said: “The demand for these four great headline acts has been incredible. The setting of the harbourside is the perfect location for these summer sounds and June can’t come soon enough. If you haven’t got your tickets already, now is the time to grab the remaining few.”

Kicking off proceedings tonight (Wednesday) is James Bay with support from Foy Vance. Tomorrow sees Sigor Ros supported by James Canty. Friday sees a double whammy of indie, The Last Shadow Puppets headline supported by former Supergrass frontman Gaz Coombes. Finally, Saturday concludes the event with Catfish & The Bottlemen.
