Eminem Announces Wembley Show

EMINEM is set to become to first rapper to headline Wembley Stadium. The American is set to play his only UK date this summer on 11 July, with the announcement being made on Zane Lowe’s show on BBC Radio 1.

The show is set to be Eminem’s first headline show in the capital since 2001 and was originally planned for Hyde Park; possibly as part of British Summertime Festival. However, it was thought Eminem would be declined from playing in the royal park, so a new venue was sought.

Eminem has played UK festivals over the past few years; including headline sets at Reading and Leeds Festivals last year.

Tickets for the Wembley Stadium show will go on sale Friday at 9am.
