First Acts Announced for Strawberry Fields Festival

Leicestershire’s Strawberry Fields festival has announced the first wave of artists confirmed for their 2014 event.

Taking place in the heart of the National Forest, the three-day event (8th-10th August) will include a Saturday night headline slot from REVEREND AND THE MAKERS, the only main-stage headliner confirmed so far. Other acts announced include THE RIFLES, CATFISH AND THE BOTTLEMEN, MOGWAI, and TWISTED WHEEL.

The festival, which features an eclectic mixture of genres and styles, also aims to promote local artists as well as national and internationally known performers. Lucy Rose, Example, Rizzle Kicks, The Charlatans and Labrinth are amongst the list of past line-up inclusions.
