Liam Fray Announces Acoustic Tour

Following a series of sold out acoustic shows earlier this year, lead singer of Courteeners Liam Fray has announced a UK headline acoustic tour this September.

Commencing in Liverpool on 19th September, the 8-night tour finishes in Liam’s hometown of Manchester at The Ritz on 29th September. Tickets go on sale on Friday 12th July at 9am from Gigs and Tours.com

Courteeners played two sold out hometown shows at Manchester’s Castlefield Bowl at the weekend, which saw them play live to 16,000 people over the two nights. Supports came from Miles Kane, The Strypes and James Skelly & The Intenders amongst others and Liam Fray followed the second night with a sold out acoustic performance at a packed out Manchester Academy 2.

Courteeners released new single ‘Van Der Graaff’ last month, the follow-up to ‘Lose Control’ which was the first single from their top 10 album ‘ANNA’.

‘ANNA’ followed a two year break since Courteeners last album ‘Falcon’, which charted at #6 and was the follow-up to the bands #4 debut album ‘St. Jude’. The band recorded and produced ‘ANNA’ in Manchester at 80 Hertz Studios with producer Joe Cross (Hurts).
