Molly Smitten-Downes for Eurovision

26-year old singer MOLLY SMITTEN-DOWNES is to represent UK at this years EUROVISION. The annual song contest will be hosted in Copenhagen, Denmark in May.

The emerging singer, who uses the name Molly was chosen by BBC Introducing; has supported Jake Bugg, Chase & Status and Labrinth on various UK tours and is set to perform her track ‘Children of the Universe’ at the event.

The Leicestershire born singer featured on the 2008 track by Sash called ‘Raindrops’. Last year saw Bonnie Tyler finish 19th place, with the previous year Engelbert Humperdinck ended second-last.
