Pet Shop Boys Announce New UK Dates

Pet Shop Boys have announced the first two UK tour dates for their 2013 “Electric” Tour. The dates will showcase the duo’s first new live stage production since the spectacular and highly acclaimed “Pandemonium” tour which began in 2009 and was performed around the world, ending in 2012. “Electric” will highlight the duo’s electronic music and style and Pet Shop Boys will be working with Grammy-winning producer/DJ Stuart Price (Madonna, The Killers, Take That) on the music. Pet Shop Boys tickets go on-sale 9am on Saturday 8th December and are available from www.livenation.co.uk or www.ticketmaster.co.uk.

The tour production will be created in collaboration with award-winning creative director and set designer Es Devlin (who has also worked with Take That, Lady Gaga, Kanye West & Jay Z, plus the 2012 Olympic Closing Ceremony), and Tony award-nominated stage director and choreographer Lynne Page, both of whom worked with Pet Shop Boys on the “Pandemonium” tour. In fact, this will be the fourth collaboration between Es Devlin and Pet Shop Boys, who first worked together in 2000.
