The Gaslight Anthem have announced details of a brief UK tour for later this year. The four-date tour will begin at London’s O2 Brixton Academy on 15th October, before taking in gigs at Manchester’s O2 Apollo, Glasgow’s O2 Academy and Birmingham’s O2 Academy. Support for the dates will come from Blood Red Shoes. Earlier this month, the New Jersey band played a one-off show at London’s KOKO. They will return to the UK for appearances at Reading & Leeds Festivals at the end of August.
The four-piece, fronted by Brian Fallon, will release their fourth album, ‘Handwritten’, on 23rd July. The album, the band’s first for Mercury Records, was produced by Grammy Winner Brendan O’Brien, best-known for his work with Bruce Springsteen and Pearl Jam.
The Gaslight Anthem will play:
15th London O2 Brixton Academy
18th Manchester O2 Apollo
19th Glasgow O2 Academy
20th Birmingham O2 Academy
Tickets go onsale on Friday at 9am.
