Victorious Festival 2016

Victorious Festival in Portsmouth is a huge music festival with an incredible line-up for the third year running!

With six live music stages, creative stalls, disco arena, kids arena, DJ tent and VIP area, there is something for everyone. The family friendly festival will see The Manic Street Preachers, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Travis, Mark Ronson, Editors, Will Young and so many more acts to grace the stage across Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 in August.

The festival is centered around its Common Stage – the heart of the festival; surrounded by bars, street food and chill out areas.

At Victorious Festival, there is enough to keep you occupied for hours! Market Way is the perfect walk from their Common Stage to their Castle Stage. Full of thrift stores, handmade goods, arts & crafts, food and even more entertainment!

For all families attending the festival, there is a kids arena full of entertainment & play areas, all free! With a traditional mini fairground, jungle buddies play bus, face-painting, bellacrafts, families magazine colouring tent, beach arena and a seating, baby change and breastfeeding area. Everything all in one place for families to indulge in a day out and enjoy a festival at ease.line-up-sat

They haven’t forgotten about the real ale lovers either! You can visit their brand new Real Ale Village, accompanied by a wide range of breweries (local and national) to ensure there will be something for every beer lover! But don’t worry about missing out while you’re in the Real Ale Village as there will be some tasty food vendors to soothe your hunger. You will also find the Mayfield Studio Stage, showcasing the best chill out tunes to accompany all of your ale needs.

If Victorious Festival haven’t already achieved enough in three short years, they have also raised money to better the community. 64 thousand pounds have been raised by the festival for the refurbishment of the D-Day museum; which is actually present on the festival grounds. 28 thousand pounds is being put forwards towards the replacement of the fountain near Southsea Castle and 8 thousand pounds has been set aside for Southsea Skatepark. They have also raised 5 thousand pounds from last years festival to go towards the African Women’s Forum to aid the Teekpah Village Project in Liberia.
