WATCH: The Coral – ‘Miss Fortune’

Liverpool’s The Coral have returned from a 5-year hiatus with ‘Miss Fortune‘, the second song to preview their new album ‘Distance Inbetween‘.

Following hot on the heels of ‘Chasing The Tail of A Dream‘, the new single sees the band on a gleeful, poppy/psychadelic slice of perfection with an added hint of funk for good measure. Having always been a cracking singles band as well as an album band, ‘Miss Fortune‘ sees them back at the top of their game.

James Skelly recently stated that the new crop of songs have been more rhythm based and slot alongside the old classics perfectly. If the rest of the album follows the suit of this track, then music fans should be in for a cracking treat when ‘Distance Inbetween‘ gets released on 14th March.
