Coldplay UK Dates Sell Out Instantly

COLDPLAY released a second date at the Royal Albert Hall venue after the first sold out instantly. The quartet fronted by Chris Martin will now play the London venue on the 01 and 02 July to support their recently released Ghost Stories.

The second of the shows; which went on sale at 4PM on 06 June also sold out quickly. The two intimate dates are part of a wider six date worldwide tour to support the album; which reached Number 1 on the UK Albums Chart. The album; the first since Martin split with long-term wife Gwyneth Paltrow, features the recently released singles ‘Magic’ and ‘A Sky Full Of Stars’.

The first of the London shows are set to be supported by AlunaGeorge. The duo are best known for their single ‘Attracting Flies’; with the band releasing their debut album Body Music last year, which reached number 11 in the UK Album Charts. It has not been confirmed who will support Coldplay on their second date.
