GRUFF RHYS, solo artist and frontman of Super Furry Animals and Neon Neon, has announced a series of intimate solo concerts to celebrate the release of ‘American Interior’ – his fourth solo album which is set for release on 5th May.
Gruff will play a residency in London every night during the week of release, as well as a hometown show in Cardiff in the days preceding the release. At each gig, songs from ‘American Interior’ along with other choice Gruff cuts will be aired. Every night Gruff will also present a Powerpoint presentation on the life of the legendary Welsh explorer John Evans.
These newly-announced live shows are in addition to Gruff’s previously announced dates at Liverpool Sound City and River’s Edge in Cardigan, plus his UK summer festival performances at Port Eliot, Cornwall, Indietracks, Derbyshire and End of the Road, Dorset.

‘American Interior’ will be released on Turnstile Records on May 5th 2014. The album is currently available to pre-order digitally via iTunes and physically. Formats include a super-deluxe box set version that features heavyweight vinyl LP, CD, three exclusive EPs, art prints and a T-shirt.
