New Zealand singer-songwriter LORDE has announced a one off show in the UK this summer. The ‘Royals’ singer will play the O2 Brixton Academy in June; just second career performance in the country.
Lorde performed an intimate set at Madame Jojo’s in the capital last year whilst the singer had only released her debut track; the show took just four minutes to sell out. The singer has since released her debut album Pure Heroine; which contains the tracks ‘Royals’, ‘Team’ and her new single ‘Tennis Court’, which you can watch the video for below.
The BRIT Award Winner recently joined members of Nirvana at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for a special performance at the ceremony; which welcomed the famous rock outfit into their books. Lorde was personally invited alongside St Vincent and Joan Jett to perform with Dave Ghrol and co.
Ticket for the newly announced Brixton Academy show are on sale now.
