One of the sad stories of 2013 was the news that My Chemical Romance were to disband – with the post on their website last March reading:

Being in this band for the past 12 years has been a true blessing. We’ve gotten to go places we never knew we would. We’ve been able to see and experience things we never imagined possible. We’ve shared the stage with people we admire, people we look up to, and best of all, our friends. And now, like all great things, it has come time for it to end. Thanks for all of your support, and for being part of the adventure.

—My Chemical Romance
However, that wasn’t really the end for the New Jersey rockers, with the band set to release their greatest hits album on 25 March. The CD will contain one new track, described by singer Gerard Way as the ‘last MCR song’ titled ‘Fake Your Death’.
You can watch the video trailer for the album May Death Never Stop You above, with audio of the new track accompanying. MCRmy – get your tissues.
